Hi-tech central London conference and events venue, Congress Centre, is launching an exciting new street food menu on stand F700 at The Meetings Show 2018, which takes place at London Olympia on 27th and 28th June 2018. Ideal for both daytime and evening events, the eclectic menu features delicious delicacies from regions across the world including Mexico, India, America, Southeast Asia, the Mediterranean and North Africa.
In order to create a more casual vibe during events, Congress Centre’s street food menu will be served at food stations. Event organisers can choose from a range of different cuisines and then add salad and dessert stations to complement the more exotic fare.
Lovers of spicy food may decide to opt for the Mexican station and choose between dishes such as tantalising chicken mole, quesadillas, spicy chilli beef and chipotle spiced chicken, or go for an Indian station featuring dishes including succulent Hariyali chicken kebabs, Kashmiri lamb, beef jalfrezi or seafood biriyani.
Southeast Asian cuisine is well-represented with a range of delicious dishes including prawn pad Thai noodles, teriyaki chicken donburi, crispy Asian salmon and char siu bao to name but a few, while dishes from America, Europe and North Africa complete the tasty line-up.
Tottenham Court Road station is just two minutes’ walk from the mid-century modern venue and when Elizabeth Line services commence at the end of this year, Heathrow will be just 30 minutes away by direct train. According to Ruby Chagger, conference & sales manager at Congress Centre, “The imminent arrival of Elizabeth Line services makes this an ideal time to launch our global street food menu as Congress Centre will be more accessible for the rest of the world than ever before. The improved transport links should help to make the venue even more appealing to international event organisers and we’re hoping that the new street food menu will be a real crowd-pleaser for delegates from both the UK and abroad.”
