On 16th March 2016, Propel will host an important industry conference for owners and senior executives of multi-site pubs, restaurants and nightclubs at London’s Congress Conference Centre. Entitled Propel Multi Club, the event will update operators on key developments within the industry, provide insights on market opportunities, and share best practices, unusual marketing ideas and personnel development strategies, as well as providing delegates with the opportunity to network with key suppliers and colleagues within the industry.
28 sponsors including Sky, Punch Taverns, Molson Coors and Reynolds will be in attendance at the event, which is expected to attract over 280 delegates, and exhibition stands will be set up in the spacious foyer outside Congress Conference Hall where the main conference will take place. A fork buffet lunch will be served in the Congress Suites on the same level.
The event features a varied and exciting programme of speeches and presentations by key industry figures. Among the many speakers are: Nicola Knight, analyst at insights firm Horizons, who will investigate key trends in the UK foodservice market, including major menu trends, growth areas and discounting; Simon King, managing director of Burger & Lobster, who will talk about his company’s progress in London and elsewhere, the unique thinking and philosophy behind the brand, sourcing quality ingredients, recruiting & training staff, and expansion outside London; and Roberto Morretti, chief operating officer of Bill’s, who will discuss the brand’s USPs, all-day trading, developing a retail dimension and staying true to the founder’s vision with ALMR chief executive Kate Nicholls.
According to Jo Charity, director of Propel, “We chose Congress Conference Centre as the venue for the Propel Multi Club after the centre was recommended to us by an industry colleague. Congress Conference Centre is ideal for our purposes as it’s extremely well located moments from Tottenham Court Road Underground, there is a built-in stage set with excellent in-house AV equipment, and all the space we need is on the same level.”
Propel is so enamoured with the London venue that it has already gone ahead and booked another event at Congress Conference Centre later this year which is due to take place on 3rd November
