Congress Centre chosen for multi-product launch extravaganza for three years running
Leading PR agency Bite Communications held PlayBite, an exhibition bringing together some of the agency’s main clients to launch their latest “must have” products in the run up to Christmas, for the third consecutive year at Congress Centre. The exhibition targeted lifestyle and technology media and took place in Congress Hall.
According to Rachel Bachmann, director of Bite Communications, “Journalists are swamped with invitations to new product launches at this time of year and simply don’t have time to go to everything so it makes sense to stage a collective launch event. Year on year, it’s extremely difficult for us to find a venue for PlayBite that’s individual and unique, situated in the West End and able to cope with our IT requirements, for example we need over 60 wireless LAN connections at the same time, and for us Congress Centre is a hidden gem. The quality of facilities, food and service are also very important considerations when selecting a venue and so far we haven’t found another venue to beat Congress Centre. It ticks every box.”
Bite’s concept certainly seems to be working. The exhibition achieved a record attendance, generating hundreds of column inches for its clients as a result.
As well as excellent IT support, Congress Centre provided a superb cold rolling buffet and an open bar for the duration of the event.
