Ping Identity was a first-time client when they held their Ping YOUniverse Conference and Exhibition at Congress Centre in November last year. The multi-faceted event made the most of our central London event venue’s numerous different sized and styled spaces and our extensive branding opportunities. ‘We kick-started planning for Ping YOUniverse with Zalina in the summer of 2023,’ says Divya Handa from Ping Identity. ‘Nadia came on the project in October and straight away took over the event logistics, requirements and deadlines. The stellar communication, support, empathy, involvement, attention to detail and the customer centric focus from Nadia and the extended support team at the Congress Centre was fantastic.’
‘We loved the flexibility offered by the venue so we could create an immersive experience for our customers and partners during the event. The versatility provided by this venue to bring our brand to life was definitely a strong consideration and win factor. Also, the location of the venue is fantastic and easy to get to as well as the hotel accommodations in the vicinity for attendees, speakers and partners travelling from overseas to attend the event was excellent.’
‘We transformed the venue to make it a Ping YOUniverse venue, their registration deck served well given the size and space, the Congress Hall and Congress Suite were great rooms for the plenary and the break-out sessions as well as the syndicate rooms which we used to host our exec customer meetings.’
‘The team’s knowledge about the A/V and production requirements was definitely helpful so we knew where we needed to outsource versus staying in-house. How and where the branding placement could be done was helpful given their previous experiences organising similar events. The F&B teams support, advice when handling lots of different dietary requirements and allergies was also helpful and I have to commend them on the versatility of the food and service provided. In some cases we saved cost thanks to the advice from the Congress Centre team.’

We loved how the venue transformed for the Ping YOUniverse event, it was amazing and their in-house lighting which can accommodate different brand colours was another win factor.’
‘Nothing was too much for Nadia, on the day of the event; last minute print-outs, food corner for our team in the war room, helping with the registration desk when the queues wouldn’t lessen… was all so helpful.’
‘Ping Identity required a full day of set-up before the event,’ says Congress Centre’s Nadia. ‘They had the whole thing running like a well-oiled machine – it was a touring event and were off to Paris after London. We helped the team co-ordinate the van drop offs and with any support they needed getting their equipment set up.’
‘The event required the use of several of our spaces. Congress Hall for their main speaker slots for their 250 delegates, Congress Suite for breakouts for between 80-100 guests and small rooms for a handful of 1-to-1s. They also used the foyer for demos and exhibition stands which also doubled up as a drinks reception space.’
‘One of the most impressive parts of their production was the barista cart they brought with them. They set it up near their registration desk and it was such a hit with all of their attendees. Everyone really enjoyed their drinks with the Yum Yums and other breakfast dishes our catering team served. I was also delighted with how fabulous all the vinyl wraps around the stairs, reception desk and pillars looked. That coupled with the LEDs set to match their company colours in the main space made the whole venue look totally ‘theirs’.’
